Engaging activities are on tap for this season

Our Lantern Stroll at the Asticou Azalea Garden returns this summer with a magical evening experience in the garden. It only happens every other year, so try not to miss it.

For those wanting to understand more about the ecology and natural history in and around Little Long Pond, join one of the weekly guided field trips there. You can take your kayak on Little Long Pond with Tate Bushell and Dave Ouellette, try your hand at rock splitting while learning about the construction of trails with Ed Hawes, or hear about conservation strategies for the forest and meadows of the Preserve.

Additional activities for members include carriage rides at Little Long Pond and walks and talks at Thuya Garden and Asticou Azalea Garden. Conversations about history, horticulture, native plants, and garden design are scheduled throughout the summer.

Registration is required for these events and a small donation is requested for most.
