Remembering Patrick Chassé

The Land & Garden Preserve community is saddened to announce the passing of Patrick Chassé (1947-2025). Patrick had a profound influence on the gardens and horticulture of Mount Desert Island and beyond, including his noteworthy role in the restoration of the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden. A full remembrance will follow in our summer newsletter. We send our best wishes and fond memories to Patrick’s family.
